Abstract: |
Objective: To study the cardioprotective effects of compound Danshen dripping pills combined with coenzyme Q10 on children with viral myocarditis. Methods: Ninety-five children with viral myocarditis were randomly divided into observation group (n =48 cases) and control group (n =47 cases). The control group was treatment with coenzyme Q10 , while the observation group received compound Danshen dripping pills combined with coenzyme Q10 treatment. The clinical symptoms such as chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations, fatigue and dyspnea were observed and recorded; the echocardiographic parameters and the laboratory indexes of two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results: The total clinical effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (91.67% vs 74.47% , χ2=5.015, P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of LDH, CK and CK-MB were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05), and the levels of cTnI and hs-CRP were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compound Danshen dripping pills combined with coenzyme Q10 can effectively promote the recovery of elevated myocardial enzymes, improve the abnormal ECG and protect the cardiomyocytes. |
