Abstract:
Objective: To probe into the effects of probiotics on intestinal microecology of infants with food allergy (FA). Methods: A total of 67 infants with FA under 6 months old in our hospital were extracted as probiotic group (37 cases) and non-intervention group (30 cases) according to the principle of voluntariness, and 38 healthy infants in the same period were extracted as the control group. High-throughput sequencing was used to detect the stool of the study subjects to investigate the diversity and difference of intestinal flora. Results: The Shannon index and operational taxonomic unit (OTU) in the non-intervention group were higher than those in the probiotic group and the control group, and the Simpson index was lower than those in the probiotic group and control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0. 05). The abundances of firmicutes and proteobacteria in non-intervention group were higher than those in control group and probiotic group ( P < 0. 05). The abundance of Bifidobacterium decreased in the non-intervention group, and the abundance of Streptococcus, unclassified Enterobacterium, Enterococcus, Citrobacter and Clostridium-1 were higher than those in the control group and probiotic group (P<0. 05). Conclusion: FA is closely related to intestinal microecology, and probiotics can improve the intestinal microecology of FA infants to some extent.
