| Abstract: |
| Objective: To investigate the current situation of pediatric pharmacists, and construct the training system for pediatric
pharmacists, so as to improve the post competence. Methods: Current situation and needs of pediatric pharmacists in China were
investigated via the questionnaire survey and interview. The methods and approaches suitable for the training of pediatric pharmacists in
China were explored by referring to the training mode of pediatric pharmacists abroad. Results: Totally 831 questionnaires were collected
to clarify the current situation of pediatric pharmacists, determine training objectives and needs, improve the training knowledge base of
pediatric pharmacists and establish a scientific training system for pediatric pharmacists. Conclusion:This study identifies the basic
situation and needs of pediatric pharmacists in China, establishes a training system for pediatric pharmacists, improves the level of
pharmaceutical care, and promotes pharmacy professional education from theory to practice. |
