| Abstract: |
| Objective: To establish the diagnostic model to explore the diagnostic value of traditional inflammatory indicators combined
with novel inflammatory indicators in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) complicated with digestive tract injury.
Methods: A total of 100 children with MPP admitted into our hospital from Aug. 2021 to Aug. 2024 were enrolled to be divided into the
observation group (50 cases with digestive tract injury) and control group (50 cases without digestive tract injury). General clinical data detection of CRP, PCT and SAA yielded an area under the curve (AUC) of 0. 944, exhibiting superior diagnostic performance compared
with single-biomarker assays (P<0. 01). Conclusion: CRP, PCT combined with SAA can accurately diagnose pediatric MPP complicated
with digestive tract injury, providing reliable reference for early clinical intervention.
were collected, and serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), serum amyloid A (SAA) and myeloid cell trigger
receptor-1 (TREM-1) were detected. Clinical manifestations of digestive tract injury in observation group were recorded. Results: The
CRP level in observation group was (38. 60±13. 65) mg/ L, higher than (14. 90±8. 22) mg/ L of control group; the PCT level in
observation group was (0. 61±0. 24) ng/ mL, higher than (0. 20±0. 09) ng/ mL of control group; the SAA level in observation group was
(132. 70±38. 45) mg/ L, higher than (56. 35±21. 72) mg/ L of control group; the TREM-1 level in observation group was (88. 45±
19. 58) pg/ mL, higher than (40. 30±11. 82) pg/ mL of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). The
descending rates of all four biomarkers at the 3rd , 5th and 7th day after treatment were markedly slower in the observation group (P<
0. 05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that CRP, PCT and SAA were independent risk factors influencing the diagnosis
of MPP combined with digestive tract injury (P<0. 05). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve demonstrated that the combined |
