NRDS患儿维生素A<0.35 μmol/L时的发病率为29.27%,维生素A<0.35 μmol/L的发病率为20.76%(P<0.05)。

Abstract:
Objective: To study the correlation between serum vitamin A level and the severity of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS). Methods: Eighty-two cases of premature infants from 2013 to 2015 in our hospital of pediatrics were selected as the research object, according to the clinical characteristics and chest X ratios examination results, children were divided into NRDS group (41 cases) and non NRDS group (41 cases). Serum vitamin A levels of two groups were measured and compared in two groups, to study the correlation between serum vitamin A level and the severity of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS). Results: The gestational age of 34~36 weeks premature, the level of serum vitamin A in NRDS group was significantly lower than non NRDS group (P<0.05), the level of serum vitamin A of mild neonatal newborn in NRDS group was higher than that of severe neonatal newborn (P>0.05). The incidence of NRDS in children with vitamin A <0.7 μmol/L was higher. The incidence of NRDS in children with vitamin A<0.35 μmol/L was 29.27%, the incidence of vitamin A more than 0.35 μmol/L was 20.76% (P<0.05). Conclusion: Neonates with relatively low serum vitamin A levels are more likely to develop respiratory distress syndrome.
