Abstract:
Objective: To compare the postoperative analgesia effects between diclofenac sodium suppository and tramadol injection in children with fracture. Methods: One hundred and fifty children undergoing fracture surgery were randomly divided into group A and group B. Group A was treated with diclofenac sodium suppository and group B received intravenous tramadol injection after fracture surgery. The CHEOPS pain scores and postoperative adverse drug reactions were recorded at 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h and 24 h after surgery. Results: The postoperative analgesia effects were good in both groups after operation, and there was no statistically significant difference in CHEOPS pain scores at 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h and 24 h after surgery (P>0.05).The incidence of adverse drug reactions in group A was 10.67%(8/75), and in group B was 34.67%(26/75), with statistically significant difference(χ2=12.323,P<0.01). Other severe adverse reactions such as drug allergy and respiratory depression were not found in both groups. Conclusion: The postoperative analgesia effects of diclofenac sodium suppository for postoperative analgesia has no difference compared with tramadol injection, but with fewer adverse drug reactions and easier usage.
