Abstract: |
Objective: To retrieve the related literature of incompatibility of vancomycin hydrochloride for injection and cefoperazone/sulbactam for injection, so as to prevent the occurrence of incompatibility in clinical infusion. Methods: A case of white precipitation caused by sequential infusion of vancomycin and cefoperazone/sulbactam was observed, the related literature of incompatibility of two drugs were retrieved and analyzed to provide reference for the clinical rational use of vancomycin and cefoperazone/sulbactam. Results: Vancomycin had incompatibility with 12 kinds of drugs, all of which were white turbidity or precipitation, and only one drug (ceftizine) was labeled in the instructions. Cefoperazone/sulbactam had incompatibility with 21 kinds of drugs, 2 kinds of drugs showed discoloration (red), and 19 kinds of drugs showed white turbidity or precipitation, of which only 3 kinds of drugs (etimicin, gentamicin, imipenem/sitastatin) indicated incompatibility in the instructions. Conclusion: There is incompatibility between vancomycin hydrochloride and cefoperazone /sulbactam, which must be administered separately. For the drugs mentioned in the literature, when they are used simultaneously with vancomycin or cefoperazone/sulbactam, it is necessary to scientifically arrange the infusion sequence or use the interval flushing method. |
