Abstract: |
Objective: To systematically evaluate the effects of intervention on the therapeutic effect of asthma in children by pharmacists and further improve the quality of pharmaceutical care. Methods: The Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBase, CNKI, VIP and Wanfang database were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trials (RCT) of intervention on the therapeutic effect of asthma in children by pharmacists. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to Mar. 2021. Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted the data and evaluated the risk of bias in the included literature, and then Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software. Results: A total of 11 RCT were enrolled, including 1,235 children with asthma. Meta-analysis showed that compared with the control group, children’s asthma control test (C-ACT) score, asthma control and lung function indicators (FEV1% and PEF%) were improved more significantly in the experimental group (intervention group) (P<0.05). Conclusion: The active participation of pharmacists in the treatment of children with asthma can effectively improve the level of asthma control and lung function indicators in children. |
